State Troopers have charged a Loyalhanna Township man and an area teenager with shooting four bulls with a crossbow at a farm over St. Patrick’s Weekend.
State troopers say 60-year-old Shaun Ross was arrested and charged with agricultural vandalism, ecoterrorism, aggravated cruelty to animals, criminal mischief and other crimes for the incident that happened between 10 PM March 16th and 8 AM on the 17th. Four bulls were shot during that time, with two suffering injuries so severe that they had to be euthanized. The other two bulls were treated for their injuries.
The teenager will be charged in juvenile court.
