Residents of Westmoreland County got a look at the comprehensive plan for the county yesterday at a pair of open house events at the Palace Theater.
The Tribune-Review reports that the 110-page document titled “Reimagining Our Westmoreland” is set to serve as a guide to grow the population in the county through the next 10 to 15 years.
Planners have spent the last two years working on the plan. Comments on the plan will be accepted during the next 45 days, and the county commissioners are expected to give final approval on the plan at their meeting on December 20th.
