Police are investigating a case where a man was scammed out of $375 when he thought he was buying tickets to the KISS concert on Saturday.
State Police say that the unidentified victim bought three $125 tickets through someone who posted on Craigslist, and the seller requested that payment be made through a third-party app called Zelle rather than through the authorized Ticketmaster site. When the sale was made, the tickets showed up initially, but were revoked by Ticketmaster because the seller used a stolen credit card to buy the tickets.
Ticketmaster said there will be no reimbursement as the tickets were not purchased through them.
