Westmoreland County prosecutors want a Hempfield woman charged with drug delivery resulting in death to remain in jail until her trial.
The Tribune-Review reports that 39-year-old Hollie Schreiber was charged in January with two other men with the January 14th overdose of Christopher Holleran of Greensburg. Assistant DA Jim Lazar said that Schreiber’s $75,000 bail should be revoked because she revoked because she purposely misled police about the identity of the person who ultimately sold the drugs to Holleran.
During the hearing, Judge Christopher Feliciani recused himself from the case, saying he knew Schreiber and previously presided over a wedding for her family. The case has been reassigned to Judge Meghan-Billik Defazio and she will rule on the bond issue after reviewing Tuesday’s testimony.
