A Jeannette woman facing murder charges has pleaded guilty in an unrelated case.
The Tribune-Review reported that 39-year-old Crystal Belle was charged nearly four years ago with financial crimes related to stealing checks from the Westmoreland County Housing Authority and forging them for her own purpose.
While she was free on bond in this case, police say Belle brutally beat to death her 19-year-old boyfriend Khalil Parker.
Belle was sentenced in the theft case to serve one year probation and ordered to pay over $900 in restitution to the Housing Authority.
