Rescue and recovery crews were out yesterday looking for Cassandra Gross, who has not been seen in over a year.
The Tribune-Review reports that crews were in a wooded area near Beatty Flats Road. The search was unsuccessful as her body was not found. Police earlier this year classified her case as a homicide.
Her family last heard from her on April 7th of last year when she called her mother. Family and friends believe Thomas Stanko was involved in her disappearance, but he has maintained his innocence.
