
A woman from Mt. Pleasant who was implicated in a human trafficking ring in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties is expected to be released from custody on April 22nd and placed on house arrest.
The Tribune-Review reports that 44-year-old Hui Xu waived her right to a preliminary hearing on Friday and the state attorney general’s office granted a request for her to be released from Westmoreland County Jail.
She is one of four people who have been arrested in connection with the human trafficking and prostitution ring at Tokyo Massage Parlors in both counties.
