The Westmoreland County Prison Warden is demanding an apology from Westmoreland County Commissioner Gina Cerilli for comments made last year in an attempt to have him fired.
The Tribune-Review reports that the demand came in the form of a written complaint against Cerilli from Warden John Walton. He has accused her of misrepresenting facts associated with a state investigation into human trafficking at Tokyo Massage Parlors that resulted in the arrests of four people last month. Some of the parlors were owned by the wife of former guard Henry Caruso III.
Cerilli said in an email reply to Walton’s public statement that she will not retract her comments.
