The North Market Street Bridge in Ligonier re-opened to traffic over the weekend, but there’s still one more step for the bridge before it is complete.
The Tribune-Review reports that the bridge along Route 711 North of Ligonier was one of many replaced as part of the PennDOT Rapid Bridge Replacement project. The project has been going on since April of 2018, and construction was expected to be finished in December, but it was delayed.
The final step is a polymer concrete overlay needs to be applied to the deck of the bridge.
