A religious artifact made its way to Hempfield’s Our Lady of Grace Church.
The Tribune-Review reports that on Wednesday, Our Lady of Grace hosted the “incorruptible” heart of Saint John Vianney. The artifact is travelling across the United States as part of a project from the Knights of Columbus, who are bringing the heart to different churches as a “spiritual response” to the ongoing clergy abuse scandal.
The artifact will return to its home in France in June.
