Construction work is slated to start in May on a bridge in the Donegal Township area.
The Tribune-Review reports that the bridge that carries County Line Road over Roaring Run at the border of Westmoreland County and Fayette County at Saltlick Township will have work start on it again on May 6th. This is due to an elevation issue in the bridge deck that happened during construction. One lane is 2-3 inches lower than the other. The lower lane is expected to be removed and replaced, and the project should be completed by mid-summer.
The project contractor is expected to pay the costs for replacing the problem deck.
