
A Scottdale man charged with the armed robberies of gas stations and discount stores entered guilty pleas in Westmoreland County court on Monday.
The Tribune-Review reports that 42-year-old Clyde Mensch entered guilty pleas to 15 separate counts connected with a series of heists in December. The spree started at the Sunoco in Scottdale on December 19th and went to a Dollar General Store in East Huntingdon on December 22nd and on Christmas Eve at another Dollar General Store in Scottdale.
Mensch was sentenced to serve three to 10 years in prison.
