Gas price averages across the state are going down, but not by that much.
Gas Buddy reports that the statewide gas price rate is now $2.98 a gallon. That means gas prices are now half a cent lower than last week.
By county, the average gas price in Westmoreland County is $3.05 a gallon. Allegheny County is also at $3.05 a gallon, with Armstrong at $3.06, Somerset at $3.08, and at Indiana $3.07 a gallon on average.
