Penn Township is now seeking someone to take the place of a township commissioner who recently resigned his position.
The Tribune-Review reports that the resignation of commissioner Grant Pence was accepted at their meeting earlier this month, and the search for his replacement is now underway. The person who eventually will take over will fill the position for the rest of the year. Cover letters and resumes are being accepted by emailing Alex Graziani at alexgraziani@penntwp.org. Those must be submitted by May 3rd.
The Democratic and Republican parties will each choose nominees for an election in November to serve the final two years in the term.
