The Tribune-Review reports that a vigil has been scheduled for the Westmoreland County Courthouse in Greensburg and will run from 6-8 tonight. The vigil is being sponsored by the Westmoreland Diversity Coalition and Voice of Westmoreland.
Bishop Edward Malesic of the Greensburg Catholic Diocese released a statement saying that he was heartbroken over what he called “yet another senseless act of gun violence perpetrated on holy ground.” He added that people should be free to worship safely and in peace, with sacred places being free of all violence.
