A former dean at Florida Gulf Coast University has accepted the position of president of the Pitt-Greensburg campus.
The Tribune-Review reports that Robert G. Gregerson will start as the branch campus’ president on July 1st. He takes over for Sharon Smith, who announced her retirement last July.
Pitt officials said that during his time at Florida Gulf Coast, Gregerson developed a career and peer mentoring initiative for humanities students, increased online and hybrid class opportunities, and boosted student engagement with college leadership.
