The Greensburg-Salem School Board could consider another tax increase for its citizens.
The Tribune-Review reports that the proposed budget for the 2019-2020 school year will come up for approval at their next meeting, and the board will vote on including a 1.5 mil increase in taxes for the upcoming year, which roughly means an extra $25.51 a year for the average district property owner.
Many board members say the tax increase is needed for repairs, but some oppose the tax increase, saying it should cut costs more and protect taxpayers.
