A man charged with marijuana possession was sentenced to one to three years in state prison on Thursday in Westmoreland County Court.
The Tribune-Review reports that 28-year-old Nickolas Hobaugh of Hempfield had pleaded guilty to drug-related crimes after police confiscated more than 55 pounds of marijuana from his home, along with 2,200 vape pens containing THC, the psychoactive drug in marijuana.
More charges were added three weeks later in connection with sales that Hobaugh made to confidential informants.
On top of the prison time, Hobaugh was forced to forfeit more than $16,720 that police confiscated from his home in the bust in February.
