State Police are investigating a case of identity theft and burglary in Hempfield Township.
State Police say that on Friday, around 8:00 PM. State police were called out to the home of 65-year-old Diane Falk of Jeannette, who had 81 checks stolen from her home, along with her Social Security card. The burglar then used the checks to make $2,226 worth of purchases at unknown locations.
