A Latrobe man died in a crash on Friday in Cook Township.
A report from Westmoreland County Coroner Kenneth Bacha said that 66-year-old Joseph Louch was driving south on Bethel Church Road when he crossed the center line, went off the road and hit a tree. Louch was thrown from the vehicle when it hit the tree, and the vehicle broke out in flames after impact.
Bacha said the cause of death was accidental due to blunt force trauma to the chest.
State Police in Greensburg assisted with the investigation.
