A North Huntingdon man was killed yesterday while burning something in his backyard.
The Tribune-Review reports that 88-year-old Thomas J. Scheetz was found with thermal-related injuries next to a burn barrel at his home on Colonial Manor Road. Deputy Coroner John Ackerman pronounced Scheetz dead at the scene, and set a time of death around 1:50 PM.
Few other details are available, but the investigation into Scheetz’ death is continuing.
