A Herminie man was ordered to serve 23 months in jail for a guilty plea to making a threatening gesture at potential witnesses during a court hearing last year.
The Trib reports that during a hearing on July 7th, 2022, 60-year-old Michael Wichelmann turned towards his accusers and used his fingers to simulate shooting a gun and mouthed the words “bang bang” during a hearing connected with allegations that he assaulted family members at a home in North Huntingdon. He pleaded guilty to a felony count of witness intimidation and a misdemeanor harassment count and was sentenced by county Common Pleas Court Judge Christopher Feliciani.
Wichelmann was paroled after he was given credit for the 303 days he has served in jail.
