An Arnold man was sentenced earlier this week to serve time in state prison for illegal possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance. The Trib reports that 38-year-old Tyson Bargerstock pleaded guilty to those crimes in connection with an incident in April of 2022. In a raid on his home, police found $15,000 in cash, $12,000 worth of crystal meth, and a stolen pistol. He was not allowed to have a gun due to a prior conviction. Five other drug-related charges were dropped. Bargerstock was ordered to serve five to 10 years in prison.
