Westmoreland County prosecutors have asked a judge to revoke the $500,000 bond that was posted by an East Huntingdon man charged with firing at police officers in January. The Trib reports that 61-year-old James Miller, Jr. was able to post the bond and was released from county prison. He was not at a hearing on Wednesday for an emergency motion filed by his attorney concerning the preservation of evidence that might have been captured on Miller’s video doorbell, Judge Scott Mears was not concerned about Miller’s absence on Wednesday, but he said it will be different if he misses a bond revocation hearing on April 3rd. The state has requested that Miller should be in prison with no bond.
