Some school officials in Western Pennsylvania are turning to technology to help crack down on student vaping. Tim Skoog with Franklin Regional School District says vaping declined by about 30 percent at their high school after they installed a dozen devices that can detect vape aerosol in the bathrooms at the property. The detectors are also in use in the Riverview, Leechburg, and Highlands school districts. Skoog says Franklin Regional also has plans to install more of the devices.
