Some voting precincts in Westmoreland County remain at locations that are not ADA-compliant. Local elections officials say there are still 16 polling places that are not accessible to voters who are in wheelchairs. Federal rules require all voting centers to meet ADA guidelines, but the Pennsylvania Department of State has said there can be some exceptions if there are no other options. Election Bureau Director Greg McCloskey says they have moved some polling places for tomorrow’s primary to make them more accessible and they plan to move more of them before the general election in November.
