WESTMORELAND COUNTY MAN ARRESTED ON ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE CHARGES

A Westmoreland County man wanted on charges of attempted homicide was arrested Early Monday morning in nearby Brackenridge.  KDKA-TV reports that 37-year-old Iven Miller was taken into custody after an overnight search outside the Devil Dog Saloon on 6th Avenue.  Police had set up a perimeter but he was able to get out in someone else’s vehicle.  He was eventually found hiding in the weeds nearby.  He was arrested and turned over to New Kensington Police.
