Congratulations to Eric Hoffman for being named Johnson’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s August 2026 Good Guy of the Month!!!

Eric Hoffman is a Greensburg attorney and juvenile court master who brings compassion, patience and genuine understanding to his work with young people. In his courtroom, he takes the time to listen—not just to what a child has done, but to understand the circumstances, challenges and behaviors that brought them there. Rather than simply focusing on the outcome of the hearing, Eric works to help young people recognize the choices they have made, understand the consequences and find a better path forward. His willingness to invest his time and energy in helping children make positive decisions and build a better future is a true reflection of what it means to be a “Good Guy.”

At Johnson’s, we like to say “We’re the Good Guys!” But we know there are good guys and gals all across our communities—young and old—who are setting an example for others through the way they live, lead and serve.

Congratulations to Mary Blythe for being named Johnson’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s July 2026 Good Gal of the Month!!!

For generations of families in the Norwin community, Mary Blythe has been a familiar and loving presence in the faith formation of children and young people. Mary serves as a leader in faith formation at her parish, helping young people grow not only in their faith but also into compassionate, caring members of their community. Her own journey hasn’t always been easy. A few years ago, Mary was involved in a serious automobile accident and faced a difficult road to recovery. She battled her way back and returned to the work and people she loves. Mary and her husband, Charlie, recently celebrated an incredible 50 years of marriage, and at a point in life when she could understandably choose to slow down or retire, Mary continues showing up for the next generation. Her perseverance, faith and decades of service have made her a pivotal part of forming young disciples in the Irwin community. She keeps going because she knows there are still young people who need encouragement, guidance and someone who believes in them.

Congratulations to Trooper Steve Limani for being named Johnson’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s June 2026 Good Guy of the Month!!!

Some people perform acts of kindness. Others create opportunities for an entire community to do the same. That’s why Johnson’s is proud to recognize Pennsylvania State Trooper Stephen Limani as our Good Guy of the Month.

In 2009, Trooper Limani launched Westmoreland County’s Shop With a Cop program with a simple mission: help children in need experience the joy of Christmas while building positive relationships with local law enforcement. What started by helping just 20 children, each receiving $50 to shop for the holidays, has grown into one of the region’s most inspiring community traditions. Today, thanks to Trooper Limani’s vision and the generosity of countless businesses, organizations, and community members, Shop With a Cop serves more than 500 children each year throughout Westmoreland County. Each child receives $150 to shop alongside a police officer—not only for themselves, but often for parents, siblings, and other loved ones.
Since the program began, it has touched the lives of more than 10,000 children, creating lasting memories while teaching lessons about generosity, budgeting, gratitude, and the importance of giving back.

But the greatest gift isn’t found in a shopping cart. It’s the trust that’s built between children and the officers who spend the day with them. For many of these young people, Shop With a Cop creates positive relationships with law enforcement and reminds them that their community cares deeply about their future.
Trooper Limani’s leadership has inspired thousands of volunteers, donors, businesses, and fellow officers to rally around this incredible cause. Together, they have transformed one person’s idea into a community-wide movement that continues to change lives every holiday season.

At Johnson’s, our slogan has always been “We’re the Good Guys!” To us, that means more than providing great service—it means recognizing and celebrating people who make our communities stronger through compassion, integrity, and selfless service.

Congratulations on being Johnson’s Good Guy of the Month!

Congratulations to Adalyn Blotzer of Latrobe for being named Johnson’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s May 2026 Good Gal of the Month!!!

Adalyn is a vital member of a team that stocks Blessing Food Boxes in Latrobe, Derry, and Greensburg.  She’s only 10 and has been filling Blessing Boxes since she was 4.  When the fire happened at Latrobe 30 Plaza, the Rotary Club lost their provisions for the backpack food program.  Adalyn collected food, dug into her own piggy bank, and spent an evening putting together 30 backpacks of food for the children in the program at Baggaley Elementary School.  She continuously donates her time to put together hygiene packs for the Blessing Boxes.  She also holds a bake sale and lemonade stand during the Latrobe 4^th of July Parade and uses the proceeds to re-stock the Blessing Boxes.  Adalyn gets her inspiration from her grandmother and is what every adult should strive to be!
