Norwin School District’s superintendent has been hired in the Carlynton School District south of Pittsburgh. The Trib reports that Jeff Taylor was hired as Carlynton’s assistant superintendent at their meeting May 21st. Carlynton Superintendent John Kreider said that Taylor had a “distinguished background in education and leadership.” Taylor is leaving the district next month as his contract expires, but the federal lawsuit filed against him by School Board director Alex Deschelt accusing him of retaliation and first amendment violation is unresolved.
