SOUTH GREENSBURG WOMAN LOSES BID TO HAVE CASE DROPPED

A South Greensburg woman charged in connection with the death of her estranged boyfriend in 2021 lost a bid to have the case dropped.  The Trib reports that 35-year-old Mandie Reusch had her request to dismiss the case rejected by County Judge Scott O. Mears because he said he did not have the authority to dismiss the charges, and there was nothing to indicate he can or should dismiss the case.  She is accused of sending him abusive texts encouraging him to hurt himself.  He died in June of 2021 and she was charged by state police two years later.
