A South Greensburg man is facing charges of shooting at a person while hunting and illegally having a hunting license. The Trib reports that 32-year-old Cody Ostrosky is charged with the incident that happened on December 1st of last year in an area off State Hill Road He claimed that he shot the other person believing they were a coyote. According to the complaint, the wounded man told authorities he had wrapped up hunting for the day and took off his fluorescent orange jacket, but still was wearing his hat when he heard rifle shots nearby. After seeing two hunters in blaze orange at the top of a field, the victim turned back to his vehicle. That’s when he was shot in the shoulder. A preliminary hearing is set for July 10th.
