The jury in the trial of Latresse Williams will resume deliberations this morning. The Trib reports that Williams is charged with killing Anthone Williams, no relation, in New Kensington in January of 2020. In closing arguments, Defense Attorney Tim Dawson said the prosecutor’s case is based on questionable scientific evidence linking him to the alleged murder weapon and a cellphone. Williams, is accused of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery and other related offenses. Deliberations are set to resume at 9:00 this morning.
