AMAZON SOLICITING JOB APPLICATIONS ONLINE

While Amazon officials have not officially announced what a $120 million facility in New Stanton will be used for, the company’s website is soliciting job applications for fulfillment center warehouse associate positions in New Stanton. According to Matt Virgin, the site developer, the New Stanton warehouse could create about 600 jobs. In addition to the Amazon warehouse, New Stanton is home to a UPS terminal, with both shipping companies looking to take advantage of the borough’s proximity to Interstate 70 and the turnpike.
