WESTMORELAND COUNTY GETS NEW WEB ADDRESS

Westmoreland County has a new address. While the county courthouse remains at the same location in downtown Greensburg where it has stood for the last century, it has a new home on the web. In what officials said is a move to enhance security, the county announced it transitioned to a new internet domain specifically used for government agencies. Its new web address is now www.westmorelandcountypa.gov. The .gov domain address was authorized by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency. Westmoreland County paid $400 for the new address.
