REGISTER OF WILLS COLLECTED COURT FEES TURNED OVER TO TREASURY

More than $422,000 from court fees collected by the Register of Wills office was turned over Thursday to the Westmoreland County treasury. Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Harry Smail Jr. last month ordered the office to pay all outstanding funds that historically have been submitted monthly to the county treasury, but had been delinquent since the end of 2023.
