HEAT ADVISORY BEGINS TODAY AT 11AM

A heat wave is expected to come into our area this week. The National Weather Service says that a heat advisory begins today at 11:00 AM and will end at 8:00 PM on Friday. Temperatures are expected to be in the 90s for the entire week, but heat index levels will make it feel like 101. People are advised to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned areas, check on relatives and neighbors, and exercise caution if you have to work outside.
