POLICE RELEASE MORE INFORMATION ON EXPORT SHOOTING

Police have released more information on the shooting in Export on Tuesday.  The Trib reports that 32-year-old Matthew Miller was taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of of 65-year-old Daniel Chicka, but charges have not yet been filed.  When police searched Miller’s home, officers found 20 marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia in his basement.  Miller was denied bail in the drug case.
