ONE PERSON KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

One person was killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash in Allegheny Township.  KDKA-TV reports that the crash happened just after 7:30 PM on Saturday in the 300 block of Markle Road.  32-year-old Scottie Hawkins of Leechburg reportedly lost control of his Harley-Davidson and was thrown from the bike.  Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.  Hawkins was not wearing a helmet at the time.
