MT PLEASANT BOROUGH COUNCIL APPROVES MANAGER PAY INCREASE

Mt. Pleasant Borough council has approved a pay increase for their borough manager.  The Trib reports that Sharon Lesko’s contract that was approved by council this week gives her a 27% pay raise to $70,000 a year through December of 2025.  She also works as the borough secretary and treasurer.  Lesko was promoted to the position after the death of Jeff Lundy in May.  Also from that meeting, borough council fired a part-time police officer Mark Price.  The reason for his firing was not released.
