TEEN KILLED BY TREE IN NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP

An 18-year-old died after a tree fell on him in North Huntingdon Township.  The Trib reports that this happened at 11:30 am on Thursday on Winchester Road near the Trafford Sportsman’s Club.  North Huntingdon Police Chief Robert Rizzo said that the man and some other volunteers were clearing fallen trees from a previous storm when the tree came down.  North Huntingdon police and the Coroner’s Office are investigating.  The identity of the victim will be released after next-of-kin have been notified.
