The sentencing hearing for the former Greensburg Police Chief has been delayed until December. The Trib reports that the attorney for 43-year-old Shawn Denning requested more time to prepare for the hearing while in the midst of handling other unrelated cases. The new date is December 18th. Denning pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute drugs back in April of this year. He was arrested in January of 2023 at Greensburg City Hall and resigned shortly afterwards. Authorities say he connected people with drug dealers in California.
