GOVERNOR SHAPIRO ON SHORT LIST OF HARRIS’ RUNNING MATES

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is on the short list of options for Kamala Harris’s running mate.  The Harris campaign has reportedly requested vetting materials from Shapiro for the vice presidential spot on the Democratic ticket.  Other options include North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly.  The Democratic party is working to settle on a pick as the Democratic National Convention is just weeks away.  At an event at Shippensburg University yesterday, Shapiro denied receiving or submitting any vetting documents to the Harris campaign but said he was still supporting her.
