GOVERNOR SHAPIRO HAS NOT SPOKEN TO VP HARRIS ABOUT BECOMING RUNNING MATE

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro says he has not spoken to Vice President Kamala Harris about the possibility of being her running mate in the year’s election.  Harris is expected to receive the Democratic nomination for president after incumbent Joe Biden dropped out of the race this past weekend and there has been speculation that Shapiro is a top contender to be her choice for V.P.  In an appearance yesterday in Lawrence County, Shapiro said he did speak to Harris on Sunday and offered her his endorsement but that the possibility of him joining her ticket did not come up.
