SCAMMERS TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF COREY COMPERATORE’S DEATH

Loved ones of Corey Comperatore say there are scammers out there trying to make money off of his tragic death.  Comperatore’s sister, Kelly, told KDKA-TV that they have seen fraudulent posts on social media from people claiming to be Corey’s family and asking for donations to cover his funeral expenses.  Kelly says the family is not asking for monetary contributions, and they never will.  She suggests making a donation to your local fire and EMS services in Corey’s honor if you would like to help.  Comperatore is the former Buffalo Township fire chief who was shot to death at the Butler Trump rally.
