Hempfield Township supervisors are set to meet tonight and plans for a former Rite Aid property are on the agenda. The Trib reports that the site plan will include tearing down the former Rite Aid on Route 30 and building a new Sheetz convenience store and gas station. Traffic from Route 30 would not have direct access to the proposed development. Motorists instead would have to turn onto West Hills Drive from the highway. The Rite Aid has been closed since October of 2023.
