Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and his family will be able to return home in the next few days following the arson last weekend. State officials said the living quarters and workspace at the estate are expected to reopen soon as crews work around the clock to restore the damage from the fire set early Sunday morning. Most of the damage was to the workspace area and dining room, where the Shapiro family celebrated Passover hours before they had to evacuate. The Department of General Services said it set an “aggressive restoration and construction schedule” so the public can be welcomed back to residence as soon as possible.
