GOVERNOR’S AWARDS FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXCELLENCE

Pennsylvania municipalities and local government officials — including some in Western PA — are being recognized with this year’s Governor’s Awards for Local Government Excellence.  Three counties, six municipalities and nine individuals are among those being recognized across the Commonwealth with the awarding of this year’s honors.  Those saluted this week include Allegheny County’s Local Government Academy and the Departments of Planning and Development in Indiana and Westmoreland Counties.
