BRADENVILLE VFD GETS NEW GEAR WASHER

Derry Township fire department #1 in Bradenville has invested in a new washing machine to better clean their gear and reduce the risk of cancer.  The Trib reports that the $30,000 gear washer was installed last week.  It allows the stations fire crews to clean their breathing devices without further exposing themselves to the cancer-causing carcinogens that they encounter in the course of duty.
