FORMER VANDERGRIFT POLICEMAN WAIVES PRELIMINARY HEARING

A former Vandegrift policeman accused of having sex with a minor about 100 times in the early-to-mid 1990’s has waived his preliminary hearing.  The Trib reports that Anthony Depanicis was 25 when the alleged first encounter took place, just months after he was hired by the city of Vandegrift.  A formal arraignment hearing is set for May 28th in front of Judge Meghan Billik-Defazio.
