UPGRADES TO GREENSBURG AMTRAK STATION TO START NEXT YEAR

While improvements to the Amtrak station in Latrobe will start this year, upgrades to the Greensburg station are expected to start in 2026.  The Trib reports that the station projects will include improved handicapped accessibility, two new restrooms and two newly designed parking spaces that will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.  The project comes as Amtrak is planning to expand passenger service between Pittsburgh and New York.
